Who Will Win the Super Bowl? Odds for Top NFL Playoff Teams
The NFL playoff field has shrunk from 14 teams to just six after an exciting wild-card round and Saturday’s divisional matchups. The Super Bowl is fast approaching, and the betting odds for the “Big Game” are constantly shifting as the remaining teams battle for a shot at glory.
Eight teams made it to the divisional round: the Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams, Houston Texans, and New England Patriots. However, two more teams have already been eliminated.
In the wild-card slate, the Los Angeles Rams pulled off a thrilling 34-31 victory over the Carolina Panthers, with Matthew Stafford leading a go-ahead drive late in the game. The Chicago Bears followed up with an improbable comeback win over the Green Bay Packers, 31-27, and will face the Rams on Sunday.
The Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 16-3, and the wild-card round concluded when the Pittsburgh Steelers were crushed 30-6 by the Texans, setting up a matchup between New England and Houston on Sunday.
Both No. 1 seeds advanced, and the divisional round kicked off on Saturday, Jan. 17. The Bills and Josh Allen lost to the Broncos on the road in overtime. Denver will now wait for their AFC championship game opponent—either the Texans or Patriots.
The Seahawks destroyed the 49ers and will host the winner of the Bears-Rams game. Which teams have climbed closer to the top of the Super Bowl odds? Who is the favorite among the eight remaining playoff teams to represent their conference in Super Bowl 60 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Feb. 8?

Seattle Seahawks (+150)
Seattle entered the season with +6000 odds to win the Super Bowl and entered the postseason as the favorite at (+400). Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba have demonstrated tremendous chemistry all season, and Seattle boasts the No. 2 overall in defensive EPA per play, per the NFL’s Next Gen Stats. That defense was on display against the 49ers, forcing three turnovers. They earned a first-round bye, which comes with home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, and finished the regular season with the best point differential by a wide margin. Seattle enjoyed an extra week to rest ahead of its divisional-round matchup against the 49ers, which it crushed 41-6 on Saturday to advance to the NFC title game. -
Los Angeles Rams (+325)
It’s rare that the top two teams in Super Bowl odds are from the same division entering the postseason. In fact, it’s the first time in 50 years that it’s happened, and the Rams saw their chances climb a smidge closer to Seattle after their win over the Panthers. Matthew Stafford is an MVP candidate, and the offense dominated, finishing first in success rate, early-down EPA, rushing EPA, rushing yards before contact, EPA against the blitz, and EPA against man coverage. Puka Nacua and Davante Adams are elite, while Kyren Williams and Blake Corum are strong out of the backfield. Sean McVay’s squad faces a tough road test in the divisional round when they face the Bears, but the offense is good enough to keep pace with any of the remaining teams. -
New England Patriots (+450)
Second-year quarterback Drake Maye had a quiet showing in his first playoff game but made a few plays that helped lift the Pats in the wild-card. But the Patriots face a Texans defense that is the best this season, and the 23-year-old quarterback went just 2-2 against teams with a winning record. New England took advantage of an easy schedule in 2025 and returned several key players in time for the postseason. They like Buffalo leaped ahead of the Broncos following their wild-card win. If the Patriots win this weekend, they must travel to Denver for the AFC championship game. -
Houston Texans (+750)
The Texans have the NFL’s No. 1-ranked defense in EPA per play, per Next Gen Stats, and have rattled off 10 straight wins. If defense wins championships, then the Texans should be taken seriously, and their impressive unit was on full display in the wild-card win in Pittsburgh, scoring two defensive touchdowns. Their Pro Bowl receiver, Nico Collins, suffered a concussion on Monday night, and Houston has a poor run game (30th in EPA per rush). C.J. Stroud struggled against Pittsburgh, and if the Patriots force the Texans to play from behind, they may not be able to keep up this weekend. -
Denver Broncos (+1000)
The Broncos were the favorites to represent the AFC entering the postseason but that’s changed in a big way despite a first-round bye. Before their divisional round game, they were priced at +750, but despite taking down Buffalo, the Broncos odds have tumbled to +1000. That’s because Bo Nix suffered a season-ending ankle injury that will keep him out of the rest of the postseason. Denver had a point differential of just (+90), which is the lowest of the four remaining AFC teams (+170 Patriots), (+116, Bills) and (+109, Texans). They also posted a negative turnover differential (-3) during the season – only the 2021 Rams have won a Super Bowl with a negative turnover margin since 2000. Still, Denver is well-coached with a stout defense with home-field advantage at Mile High, which could be enough to get them all the way to Santa Clara next month.
BO NIX INJURY UPDATE:
Broncos’ quarterback out for season
- Chicago Bears (+1400)
Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson have been a match made in heaven, but can Chicago keep winning in cardiac fashion? Their propensity to come from behind is unsustainable, and losing the green dot player on their defense – T.J. Edwards to an injury during wild-card weekend will likely be detrimental against the better remaining offenses in the playoffs. Rookies Colston Loveland, Luther Burden and Kyle Monangai have provided an excellent boost, and the running game ranks third in yards before contact. However, Chicago’s defense leaves much to be desired, ranking 21st in total EPA largely because it struggles to pressure the quarterback. Stafford could pick them apart on Sunday.
