Mike Vrabel and the New England Patriots have secured their spot in Super Bowl 60 after defeating the Denver Broncos 10-7 in the AFC Championship Game on January 25 in Denver. This victory marks a significant milestone for Vrabel, who is in his first season as the Patriots’ head coach. Under his leadership, the team claimed the AFC East division title and earned the No. 2 seed in the conference. They then went on to defeat the Los Angeles Chargers, Houston Texans, and Broncos in the playoffs.

The Patriots will now face the winner of the NFC Championship Game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. The Super Bowl is scheduled for February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Several former Tennessee Titans players and assistant coaches are set to be part of the Super Bowl experience with the Patriots. This is not surprising, given that Vrabel left the Titans just 24 months ago, having previously served as their head coach.

EDGE Harold Landry III

Landry had an impressive career with the Titans, recording 50.5 sacks over six seasons in seven years (he missed the 2022 season due to a torn ACL). During his time with the team, he recorded nine or more sacks in four seasons. The 2018 second-round pick was released last offseason, and the Patriots signed him. This season, Landry managed 8.5 sacks in 15 games but missed the AFC Championship Game due to a knee injury.

TE Austin Hooper

Hooper spent one season with the Titans in 2022 before moving to the Raiders. He then signed with the Patriots prior to the 2024 season. Hooper has been a reliable TE2 behind Hunter Henry, providing consistent support on the field.

LB Jack Gibbens

Gibbens made a strong impression as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and became a starting linebacker for the Titans by the 2023 season. However, he suffered a season-ending ankle injury in 2024 and subsequently signed with the Patriots in free agency. Gibbens has contributed to the Patriots’ defense, totaling 81 tackles and eight TFL during the regular season.

LB Robert Spillane

Spillane was a training camp standout in 2018 but was released during Vrabel’s first season in Nashville. He later joined the Steelers, becoming a key rotational player, and then moved to the Raiders in 2023. Spillane started all 34 games in two seasons in Las Vegas. This season, he started 13 games and returned from injury at the start of the postseason.

QB Josh Dobbs

Dobbs started the final two games of the 2022 season for the Titans and then moved around to a few teams before landing in New England last offseason to back up Drake Maye.
