The Enquirer is currently accepting votes for the next Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Athletes of the Week, part of the 2025-26 high school sports year. The voting period covers activities up to January 18. Readers of Enquirer/Cincinnati.com can cast their votes through their desktop, the Cincinnati.com mobile web, or the Cincinnati.com app. Each user is allowed to vote once per hour. The deadline for voting is 4 p.m. on Friday.

How to Participate

Voting takes place each week during all high school sports seasons and recognizes athletes across various sports. It’s important to note that email submissions will not be counted. The system uses a single IP address for Wi-Fi connections to prevent multiple votes from the same network. If multiple people are using a shared Wi-Fi, they should temporarily disconnect from the network to ensure their votes count.

Past Winners and Certificates

For past winners, The Enquirer has stopped mailing certificates to schools after receiving feedback that families were not receiving them. Instead, Alex Harrison will provide digital copies of all certificates to families by 8 a.m. on the Monday following the Friday win. Families can access the PDFs through a public Dropbox link. Once printed, families can email a photo of the certificate to mlaughman@enquirer.com for inclusion in the gallery.
