A big offseason of change is here for the Colorado State football program. Jay Norvell was fired as CSU’s coach in October, and Jim Mora was hired to take over the program in November. The lone portal period for college football players (outside of coaching changes) opened Jan. 2, but many players announced earlier that they will be entering.

There will be a lot of player movement at CSU before the spring semester begins. Here is a look at the Rams from the 2025 roster entering the transfer portal:

Dennious Jackson, defensive line

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-2, 330-pound Jackson was a senior and in his first season at CSU in 2025. He came to CSU from Kentucky. Jackson played two total snaps for CSU.

Tahj Bullock, quarterback

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Bullock was a redshirt senior in 2025. Bullock was used mostly as a running option at QB. He had 23 carries for 31 yards and three touchdowns in his lone season at CSU. The 2025 season was expected to be his last season of college eligibility, but he could challenge for another.

Jordan McIntyre, receiver

• Notes:
• The 5-foot-11, 190-pound McIntyre had three catches for 22 yards over two seasons as a Ram, where he transferred after three seasons at Brown.

Clarence Taylor, receiver

• Notes:
• The 6-foot, 165-pound Taylor was a true freshman in 2025 and appeared in one game and didn’t record any stats. The former three-star recruit had more than 2,500 receiving yards in high school. He has four seasons of eligibility remaining.

Owen Long, linebacker

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Long was a sophomore in 2025. He had an All-American season, leading FBS in tackles with 151 after being voted a captain by teammates. Over two seasons at CSU, Long had 196 tackles, 5.5 tackles-for-loss, two sacks and seven passes defensed. Long has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Jordan Ross, receiver

• Notes:
• The 5-foot-11, 175-pound receiver was a sophomore in 2025. He had 11 catches for 84 yards in seven games played. Ross came to CSU as a high-profile recruit and is ranked as CSU’s No. 2 all-time (modern era) recruit by 247Sports. In two seasons, he caught 26 passes for 302 yards and a touchdown. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Jeremy Naborne-Owens, linebacker

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-1, 235-pound Naborne-Owens was a junior in 2025 and in his first season at CSU after transferring from Fullerton College. Naborne-Owens had 35 tackles, four tackles-for-loss and two sacks in 2025. He’s expected to have one season of eligibility remaining.

Kylan Studebaker, defensive back

• Notes:
• The 6-foot, 190-pound Studebaker was a redshirt freshman in 2025. He joined the program in 2024 as a walk-on and didn’t appear in any games as a Ram.

Lloyd Avant, running back

• Notes:
• The 5-foot-10, 210-pound Avant was in his first year at CSU in 2025 after transferring from Tulsa. He ended 2025 with 90 carries for 436 yards (4.6 yards per carry) and five rushing touchdowns. He also caught 24 passes for 261 yards and a touchdown. Avant was also CSU’s primary kick returner, with 11 returns for 268 yards and a long of 50. He’s expected to have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Jaxxon Warren, tight end

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-8, 245-pound Warren was a redshirt sophomore in 2025 and in his second season with the Rams. Warren missed all of 2024 due to shoulder surgeries. He played in just two games in 2025 due to an ankle injury. He had seven catches for 95 yards and a touchdown at CSU. He’s expected to have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Armani Winfield, receiver

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Winfield was a redshirt junior in 2025 and in his second season with the Rams (after transferring from Baylor). Winfield caught 22 passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns in 2025. Over 25 total games at CSU, he had 60 catches for 617 yards and four touchdowns. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

Rocky Beers, tight end

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-5, 250-pound Beers joined CSU from Florida International ahead of the 2025 season and became the top receiving threat for the Rams as the season went on. Beers had 31 catches for a team-high 388 yards and seven touchdowns. The seven TDs set a program record for touchdown catches in a season by a tight end. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

Robert Edmonson, linebacker

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Edmonson was a redshirt sophomore in the 2025 season. It was his first at CSU after transferring from Prairie View A&M. Edmonson had 49 tackles, four tackles-for-loss and an interception for the Rams. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Drew Rodriguez, linebacker

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Rodriguez was a redshirt sophomore in the 2025 season. He had 11 tackles and half a tackle-for-loss in 2025. Over 26 games in three seasons at CSU Rodriguez had 28 tackles and one force fumble. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Whitefield Powell, linebacker

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Powell was a redshirt freshman for the 2025 season. He appeared in one game over three seasons as a Ram and none in 2025. The former three-star recruit has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Bryan Hansen, punter

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-3 Hansen took punting duties for CSU for the 2025 season and excelled. Hansen finished third nationally with an average of 47.89, which stands as the third-best single season in CSU history. CSU finished second in FBS in net punting. Hansen was first-team All-Mountain West. Hansen has one season of eligibility remaining.

Javion Kinnard, running back

• Notes:
• The 5-foot-8 Kinnard showed flashes in his freshman season in 2025. He had 18 catches for 228 yards and a touchdown. Kinnard ran the ball 12 times for 56 yards and averaged 23 yards per punt return, including a 91-yard punt return touchdown. The former three-star recruit out of Tennessee has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Jaden Landrum, tight end

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Landrum completed his redshirt freshman season in 2025. Formerly a linebacker, Landrum switched to tight end in spring practices ahead of the 2025 season and listed himself as a tight end in announcing his intention to transfer. Landrum didn’t appear in any games in two seasons as a Ram. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Justin Marshall, running back

• Notes:
• The 5-foot-10, 190-pound Marshall completed his redshirt sophomore season in 2025. In three seasons at CSU, he carried the ball 260 times for 1,317 yards (5.1 yards per carry) and seven rushing touchdowns. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Ed’Mari Binion, defensive line

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-6, 265-pound Binion was a redshirt freshman for the 2025 season. A former three-star recruit out of California, Binion did not appear in any games in two seasons at CSU. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Chauncey Davis, defensive back

• Notes:
• The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Davis was a redshirt freshman in 2025. He appeared in one game in 2025 and none in 2024. The former three-star recruit out of California has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Tanner Morley, offensive line

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-7, 325-pound Morley was a redshirt sophomore in 2025. He played four games in 2025 before suffering a knee injury that sidelined him for the rest of the season. He played 13 games in 2025. The Valor Christian graduate was voted a captain by teammates before the season. Morley has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Christian Martin, offensive line

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-3, 300-pound left tackle was a redshirt sophomore in 2025. He started all 12 games in 2025 after playing 13 in 2024. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Aaron Karas, offensive line

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-5, 315-pound Karas was CSU’s right tackle for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

Aitor Urionabarrenechea, offensive line

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-5, 320-pound Urionabarrenechea started 12 games in 2025 after playing 13 games in 2024 (mostly on special teams). Urionabarrenechea became CSU’s center for 2025 but also has spent time at guard and tackle. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Jackson Brousseau, quarterback

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Brousseau was a redshirt sophomore during the 2025 season. He became the starter during 2025 and played in nine games. Brousseau completed 128 of 201 passes (64%) for 1,354 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions in 2025. Brousseau has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, quarterback

• Notes:
• The former CSU starting quarterback left the team in October after the coaching change. He played 31 career games with the Rams and was the starter for parts of three seasons. Fowler-Nicolosi completed 44 of 82 passes (54%) for 488 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in 2025 in three starts. He was named a captain before the start of the season. Fowler-Nicolosi finishes his CSU career with 6,938 pass yards on 60% completion percentage. He threw 38 touchdowns and 29 interceptions and also ran for six touchdowns. He is expected to have one season of eligibility remaining.

Jalen Dupree, running back

• Notes:
• The 6-foot, 210-pound Dupree was a redshirt freshman in 2025. He left the team in November with three games remaining. Dupree was named a captain during the season. Dupree had 508 rush yards on 102 carries and two rushing touchdowns in 2025. Over two seasons, Dupree had 661 rush yards on 127 carries. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Andrew Laurich, defensive line

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-3, 295-pound Laurich was a redshirt sophomore in the 2025 season. He played 24 games over the last two seasons for the Rams, becoming a consistent presence throughout 2025 despite shoulder injuries. Laurich had 30 tackles and two tackles-for-loss in 2025 and set a Mountain West record for fumble recoveries in a game with three when the Rams played New Mexico. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Landon Bell, receiver

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Bell was a redshirt freshman in 2025. After redshirting in 2024, he appeared in seven games in 2025, mostly on special teams. He had two catches for 28 yards on the season. The former three-star recruit out of Las Vegas has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Dylan Phelps, defensive back

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Phelps was a redshirt sophomore in 2025. Phelps missed three full games injured during the 2025 season after playing in 10 games in 2024. He has played at both cornerback and nickel for CSU. Over 19 games, he had 41 tackles, an interception, fumble recovered and six passes defensed. Phelps has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

John Smith, defensive back

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Smith was a true freshman in 2025. He didn’t appear in any games. The former three-star recruit out of Texas will have four seasons of eligibility remaining.

Caden Branston, defensive line

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Branston was a true freshman in 2025. He appeared in three games on special teams duty, but it will still count as a redshirt season. The former three-star recruit out of Arizona has four seasons of eligibility remaining.

Jackson Murray, defensive line

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-1, 275-pound Murray was a true freshman in 2025. He appeared in two games, but it will still count as a redshirt season. The former three-star recruit out of Arizona has four seasons of eligibility remaining.

Jett Vincent, linebacker

• Notes:
• The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Vincent was a redshirt sophomore in 2025. He was previously a defensive back but shifted to linebacker in 2025. Vincent played in all 12 games for CSU in a variety of roles after appearing in 10 games in 2024 (mostly special teams). Over 22 games, he had 21 tackles and 3.5 tackles-for-loss.

Graduated players

In addition to the transfers, there were 23 players on CSU’s roster who had their college eligibility expire after the 2025 season, although a few could be able to apply for another year for medical redshirt waivers.
