A Rare Appearance: Ivanka Trump Joins Her Father at College Football Playoff

Ivanka Trump, the daughter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, made a rare public appearance alongside her father on Monday night, as they attended the College Football Playoff National Championship in Miami. The event, which featured the Miami Hurricanes and the Indiana Hoosiers, was a significant moment for the Trump family, with Ivanka seen in a stylish black dress and sunglasses, standing beside her husband, Jared Kushner, and her father.

The game took place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, where Ivanka was joined by four of her father’s grandchildren. These included Kai, the 18-year-old daughter of Don Jr., Carolina and Luke, the children of Eric Trump, and Theo, Ivanka’s 9-year-old son. This gathering highlighted the close-knit nature of the Trump family, even amid the political spotlight that often surrounds them.

A Shift in Focus: Ivanka’s Role in the Trump Administration

During her time as a senior adviser in the first Trump administration, Ivanka played a key role in shaping policy and supporting her father’s initiatives. However, since Trump returned to the White House in 2021, she has been largely absent from the public eye. In an interview with the Him & Her podcast before Trump’s second inauguration, she expressed her feelings about politics, stating, “I love policy and impact. I hate politics. And unfortunately, the two are not separable. There is a darkness to that world that I don’t really want to welcome into mine.”

Her last public appearance with her father was in October when U.S. officials traveled to Israel to address a rally following the release of the last remaining hostages from Gaza. At the time, Ivanka praised the effort, calling it a “triumph of faith, of courage, and of our shared humanity.” She also emphasized her father’s commitment to supporting those affected by the conflict.

Public Support and Family Moments

In addition to her public statements, Ivanka has frequently used social media to express her support for her father’s leadership. On Instagram, she wrote, “I want to thank my father @realDonaldTrump for his unbending leadership in bringing real hope for lasting peace to a region that has known so much pain and heartbreak.” She also acknowledged the contributions of her husband, Jared Kushner, and special envoy Steve Witkoff, highlighting their efforts in providing hope to families seeking safety and opportunity.

Earlier this year, Ivanka shared a video of her son Theo playing football with her father at the White House. The clip captured a more personal side of the Trump family, showing the bond between grandfather and grandson. Ivanka and Kushner have two other children: Arabella, 14, and Joseph Frederick Kushner, 12.

A New Venture: The First-Ever White House UFC Fight

Despite her limited public appearances during Trump’s second term, Ivanka has reportedly taken on a new role in planning the first-ever White House UFC event. Scheduled for June 14, the event will coincide with Trump’s 80th birthday and is set to take place on the South Lawn of the White House.

UFC CEO Dana White confirmed that Ivanka was directly involved in the planning process, saying, “When [Trump] called me and asked me to do it, he said, ‘I want Ivanka in the middle of this.’” He added that Ivanka reached out to him to discuss the details of the event, including its location and design.

A Night at the Game

On Monday night, Ivanka and her father were seen enjoying the College Football Playoff National Championship, showcasing a more relaxed side of the Trump family. During the game, Trump issued a presidential message for the event, expressing his congratulations to both teams and acknowledging the efforts of players, coaches, and fans. “God bless the talented players and dedicated coaches, the families who love and support them, and the faithful fans who cheer them on. May the best team win!” he said.

This rare outing highlights the continued presence of Ivanka in her father’s life, even as she maintains a more private role in the public sphere.
