Visitors can rent skates at the pavilion for a small fee. In late January or early February, the park hosts the Wonders of Winter event, which includes kid-friendly activities.

Gunflint Lake at Gunflint Lodge & Outfitters in Grand Marais

Gunflint Lake, located in Grand Marais, offers over 6 miles of skating trails on a massive frozen lake surrounded by forest views. Guidant John Rose Minnesota OVAL in Roseville

The Guidant John Rose Minnesota OVAL is the largest artificial outdoor skating venue in North America, covering 110,000 square feet. Located at the Roseville Skating Center, it features a 400-meter track ideal for casual spins and speedskating. Public skating hours are listed on the City of Roseville website, and there is a small admission fee. Skates can be rented for a nominal price, and hockey games can be registered for online.

Centennial Lakes Park in Edina

Centennial Lakes Park in Edina features three picturesque ponds that serve as a seasonal outdoor skating venue.
