Defending champion Bergen Catholic has been named the No. 1 seed for the 69th Bergen County Jamboree boys basketball tournament. The tournament, which features 24 teams, is set to kick off with a strong field of competitors. Tenafly, an unbeaten team, has earned the No. 2 seed, while St. Mary, the top small-school team from the NJIC, holds the No. 3 spot. Teaneck and Ridgewood round out the top five seeds.

The top eight seeds will receive a first-round bye and automatically advance to the Round of 16 on Jan. 31 at either Northern Highlands or Tenafly. Teams seeded from No. 9 to No. 24 will play their first-round games on Jan. 29, with the higher-seeded team hosting each match.

Fairleigh Dickinson will host the quarterfinals on Feb. 8, the semifinals on Feb. 15, and the championship game on Feb. 20. Teams that lose in the first round of the Jamboree will continue their season in the Del Buono 15th Bergen Invitational Tournament, with its schedule outlined below the Jamboree schedule.
