Georgia Players Who’ve Entered or Announced Their Intentions

• OL Bo Hughley – After three seasons at Georgia, the former Langston Hughes standout is seeking a transfer. He played both left and right tackle in a reserve role during the 2025 season, starting one game at left tackle against Auburn.

• LB Kris Jones – The 2024 signee is the first Georgia transfer portal entry that comes as any surprise. Jones saw significant playing time this season after moving from inside linebacker to outside linebacker.

• DB Jaden Harris – The former Miami defensive back spent one season at Georgia and preserved a redshirt. He was brought in for depth at safety and STAR but was passed over by Resean Dinkins for the latter role.

• DL Jordan Thomas – After two seasons at Georgia, Thomas intends to transfer. He has played just 64 snaps over the past two seasons after showing promise during his first preseason camp in 2024.

• RB Roderick Robinson – The former four-star running back is moving on from the program after three years. Robinson played in 10 games in 2025 but only ran the ball six times and caught two passes, one for a short touchdown against Alabama in the SEC Championship game.

• CB Daniel Harris – The junior from Miami announced his intentions to enter the portal a month ago. He hasn’t been with the team since. Harris, who previously considered leaving Georgia, started the first three games of the 2025 season but lost his starting job and only saw significant defensive action in one more game.

• TE Pearce Spurlin – The former four-star tight end initially took a medical disqualification at Georgia due to a heart condition. He has since received medical clearance and announced his intentions to enter the portal.

Georgia Additions from the Transfer Portal

• S Khalil Barnes (Clemson) – Barnes is from the Athens area and canceled visits, including one to Ole Miss, to commit to Georgia. His addition fills a major need for the Bulldogs, who continue to recruit defensive backs.

The NCAA student-athlete transfer portal launched in 2018. It marked a change from when student-athletes had to get a release from their school to transfer to another and they could be limited as to where they transferred. The portal allows student athletes to simply notify their current school and its compliance department that they intend to move on to another program.
