Polaris has made a triumphant return to sportify after a decade! The most anticipated super fight show in Europe is set to kick off 2026 live from Cardiff, Wales, where all-star squads from WNO and Polaris will face off in their signature Squads ruleset.

Main Card

WNO vs Polaris Squads Second Half

Deandre Corbe (WNO – 12) vs (Polaris – 13)

Both fighters engaged in a hand fight before Corbe landed a single leg and moved into top half guard. He worked to free his leg, but Lillius managed to climb up. Corbe spun to the back and attempted to trap hands. From turtle, Corbe fell off and locked up an armbar, securing a 40-second win. Lillius escaped into closed guard, but it wasn’t enough for a reversal.

Deandre Corbe (WNO – 11) vs Santeri Lillius (Polaris – 13)

After two minutes of intense grappling, Corbe struck with a single leg and moved into top half guard. He worked to free his leg, and as Lillius climbed up, Corbe spun to the back. He tried to trap hands, but Lillius escaped into closed guard. Corbe took the decision.

Luccas Lira (WNO – 11) vs Santeri Lillius (Polaris – 12)

Lira initiated a kani basami early, transitioning to the other leg before Lillius cleared. Lira attempted to wrestle up, but they ended standing. Lillius went back to the knee pick, and Lira rolled into the kneebar, ending up in a 50/50 position. Lillius ripped a toe hold, but they went out of bounds and restarted in 50/50. Time expired, and Lillius took the decision.

Luccas Lira (WNO – 10) vs Lucas Kanard (Polaris – 12)

Kanard pulled and mostly retained against Lira, who was walking around the outside and stacking. Lira couldn’t get much going from top without risking a limb. Kanard caught a stray ankle occasionally, but Lira kicked and limped out each time. The match went to a decision, which Lira won.

Devhonte Johnson (WNO – 10) vs Lucas Kanard (Polaris – 11)

Kanard pulled, and Devhonte attacked from top with stacks and over unders. After five minutes, Kanard won, moving the score back to a two-point margin.

Devhonte Johnson (WNO – 8) vs Meyram Maquine (Polaris – 11)

Devhonte wasted no time, securing top position and the back. He squeezed and got the RNC. Johnson had a significant percentage of WNO’s points.

Chris Wojcik (WNO – 8) vs Meyram Maquine (Polaris – 10)

Chris pulled and entangled a leg, but Maquine escaped. Chris used a false reap to come up and rolled through trying to find a lock, but Maquine stayed safe. Maquine worked his loose passing, and Chris entangled legs. Time expired, and Maquine got the nod.

Chris Wojcik (WNO – 7) vs Eoghan O’Flanaghan (Polaris – 10)

Chris pulled and was able to invert into a leg and sweep. He came up and evened mount, but O’Flanaghan reguarded. Eoghan worked his way to top position, trying to find his way under the legs to pass but couldn’t connect enough. Wojcik won the decision.

Declan Moody (WNO – 7) vs Eoghan O’Flanaghan (Polaris – 8)

Team WNO gave Declan a break. O’Flanaghan out and used a big inside trip for top position. Declan started to invert under, but O’Flanaghan countered with his own outside heel hook for the submission win.

Declan Moody (WNO – 6) vs Owen Jones (Polaris – 8)

The MVP of the first half returned for Polaris. Quick passing and near submission exchange after Owen pulled guard. He entered legs with a bear trap and an Achilles grip. After about a minute, Declan escaped and then passed to north south. Owen reguarded. Thirty seconds left, Declan cut the corner again, Owen climbed on a leg, Declan re-attacked, and time elapsed. Declan took it.

Declan Moody (WNO – 5) vs Taylor Pearman (Polaris – 8)

A rematch from the first half. Declan on top, he passed and was threading a darce up, but Taylor escaped. Taylor reguarded, Declan passed again, and time elapse with Moody picking up the win.

Davis Asare vs Levi Jones-Leary – Polaris Middleweight Championship

Round one began with Levi pulling quickly. He got to waiter guard, Davis cleared. Levi entangled again and came up in the leg drag. Again, Levi wrestled up and passed. He showed more skills than just his prodigious guard. Levi took round one.

Levi again entangled legs, and Davis dropped back while Levi came up. Davis stood up, Levi pulled and swept again. Now he passed and spent the rest of the round in north south and side control. 20-18 Levi.

Third and final round. Levi pulled again. He’s into the legs and sweeps, now Davis is playing more guard, but a high step lands Levi back into north south. Three similarly dominant rounds, and Levi will take the title here in Cardiff.

Selma Vik vs Adele Fornarino

Adele, unaffiliated from any team, showcased her wrestling early with an uchi mata for a takedown. Selma worked her way out, and Adele pulled. She hunted legs, and Selma defended well. As Selma pressured in, Adele caught her closed guard. Round ends, and it’s 10-9 Fornarino.

Round two begins, Adele sits immediately and is into her knee shield. She uses wrist control to throw a triangle. Selma stands up and gets knocked over but re-takes top position. From her closed guard, Adele inverts to the legs and then the back. She secures the rear naked choke.

WNO vs Polaris Squads First Half

Chris Wojcik (WNO – 5) vs Owen Jones (Polaris – 8)

They only have one minute, so both guys sprint after it, chasing legs mostly. Decision time on short action, it goes to a draw. Three point advantage for Polaris into the half.

Devhonte Johnson (WNO – 5) vs Owen Jones (Polaris – 5)

Owen Jones pulls and inverts on the legs, finding the back. Owen is all over Devhonte here, now mounts. As Devhonte escapes and wrestles up, Owen finds the back again, now on the next escape transitions into a heel hook for the tap. That’s extra points too, a three point win for Jones. 59 seconds left in the half.

Devhonte Johnson (WNO – 4) vs Santeri Lillius (Polaris – 5)

Expecting a wrestling match here. Santeri shoots, Devhonte uses a tight anaconda attempt to nearly get the tap, then spins to the back but they end up out of bounds. After five minutes of action, Devhonte Johnson wins again, and the team score is evened up once more.

Devhonte Johnson (WNO – 3) vs Eoghan O’Flanaghan (Polaris – 5)

Lot of hand fighting going on, neither man willing to concede bottom. Devhonte with a big attempt that ends up taking out a barricade. They come back to the center, and Eoghan pulls and then stands again. We go to decision. Devhonte takes it off the attempts from the feet. Team Polaris disagrees, but we fight on. Team WNO takes their time out for the half.

Luccas Lira (WNO – 3) vs Eoghan O’Flanaghan (Polaris – 3)

Eoghan O’Flanaghan comes out heavy with a slide by to a side arm triangle, can’t finish though as Lira escapes. Luccas sits to guard, Eoghan enters from top into the legs and gets the tap with an ankle lock! First sub of the squads event.

Luccas Lira (WNO – 2) vs Lucas Kanard (Polaris – 3)

Kanard pulls. He’s trying to entangle legs with scoop grips, Lira is stacking a lot. Not a ton through five minutes. Lira takes the decision and evens the score again.

Gavin Corbe (WNO – 2) vs Lucas Kanard (Polaris – 2)

Double pull, Gavin comes up and starts attacking the guard with outside footwork and stacks. Kanard getting a few bites on the legs with scoops, but Gavin clears and gets back to his work. Gavin tries to entangle a leg late, Kanard tries his own spin to the back, and Gavin in the closing seconds uses a duck under and jumps hooks! May be enough to swing it, honestly. Not enough, Kanard gets the hand raise.

Lucas pulls. Deandre jumps around looking to bolo. After a few minutes of double pull leg pummeling, Kanard comes up. They sit back to double pull, Deandre comes up. Not much to judge after five. Kanard gets the win.

Deandre Corbe (WNO – 1) vs Taylor Pearman (Polaris -1)

CJI teammates facing off here. Taylor gets a little more rest with Team Polaris using a timeout before the bout. A minute in, Taylor pulls. Pearman trying to get to waiter guard but Corbe staying balanced. Deandre pulls his way into a leg drag, then north south, and tries to send an armbar before time expires. He still will win.

Declan Moody (WNO – 1) vs Taylor Pearman (Polaris – 0)

Taylor pulls. They are both working from half butterfly, with Declan aiming to get to north south. Taylor knocks him over for a second, but can’t capitalize. Taylor uses an arm drag to come on top and ends up in a black hole position. Declan back on top to end. Taylor wins to even it up.

Declan Moody (WNO – 0) vs Meyram Maquine (Polaris – 0)

Declan uses a big slam to get to top position early. He nearly takes the back, and then mounts with about a minute left. Declan will ride out for the one point decision victory.

The teams are walking to the arena. The teams will grapple for a total of 45 minutes before a half time, then come back for the final 45 minutes.

Carlos Gomez vs Gavin Thomas

In our first gi match of the evening, Gavin Thomas is able to successfully counter a back take with a toe hold for the submission in the second round.

Alex Valenzia vs Owein Parry

Alex Valenzia will get the win after ten tough minutes, earning the decision.

Callen O’Mahoney vs Alex Aston

It’s another speedy submission win, this time with Callen O’Mahoney finishing the match with a triangle in round one (before celebrating with a back flip).

Jordan Adney vs Lloyd Davies

Inside of a minute, Adney manages to drop back and secure a tight ankle lock for the win.

Josh Gibbs vs Chris Batchelor

After ten minutes, Josh Gibbs gets the decision victory.

Annica Von Mantripp vs Amisha Price

In our fastest finish of the night so far, Amisha Price snatches a straight ankle lock for the submission win inside of two minutes.

After ten minutes, Eneko will take it by decision after having pulled away later in the match with strong positional work.
