The Georgia Bulldogs are set to have a significant presence in this year’s Super Bowl, with multiple players from the program expected to participate in the big game. As the 2026 football season reaches its climax, the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will face off in Super Bowl LX. This matchup marks the second time these two teams have met in the Super Bowl within a 15-year span.

While the competition between the Patriots and Seahawks is familiar, the college football connection remains strong, as the Georgia Bulldogs will be well-represented in the game. Two former Bulldogs players are set to take part in Super Bowl LX, showcasing the program’s continued influence on the NFL.

Former Bulldogs Players Head to Super Bowl LX

Jared Wilson, an offensive lineman for the New England Patriots, was a key player for the Georgia Bulldogs from 2021 to 2024. He served as the team’s starting center during the 2024 season. After his collegiate career, Wilson was selected by the Patriots as the 95th overall pick in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Kenny McIntosh, a running back for the Seattle Seahawks, also played for the Bulldogs under head coach Kirby Smart. He was instrumental in the team’s back-to-back national championship wins. McIntosh was drafted by the Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft but has been sidelined due to injury and is unlikely to be active for the game.

Georgia Bulldogs’ Legacy in the Super Bowl

The Bulldogs have consistently had at least one former player appear in the Super Bowl over the past 24 seasons. With Wilson and McIntosh participating in Super Bowl LX, this streak will extend to 25 seasons.

Last year, the Bulldogs were heavily represented in Super Bowl LIX, with eight former players taking part in the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. Of those eight, six Bulldogs players won the championship as the Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22.

Super Bowl LX is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 8th in Santa Clara, California. The game will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBC.
