Miami will then embark on a series of road games that will rack up frequent flyer miles. They will play three games against the Detroit Tigers, where weather conditions in April could be unpredictable. It’s also unclear what the Tigers’ rotation will look like and whether they’ll face Tarik Skubal. Following that, the Marlins will take on the Atlanta Braves in a series at Truist Park.

An unusual scheduling twist early in the season includes hosting two more National League Central teams, the Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals, for a pair of three-game series. This means that three of the five NL Central teams will visit Miami before the end of April.

The month of April will close with the Marlins traveling to the West Coast for three games against the San Francisco Giants and another three games against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This will be the first time the Marlins get a look at Kyle Tucker wearing the Dodger uniform.
