Section 9 Boys Wrestling Scores for the 2025-26 Season

For coaches or team representatives looking to report scores from Section 9 boys wrestling matches, there is a clear process in place. The information should be submitted as soon as possible by emailing sports@th-record.com. It’s important to include both the first and last names of the wrestlers, along with details about wins, losses, or draws. Additionally, a name and contact number must be included with each submission.

Once the scores are received, they will be listed below by date. For those interested in upcoming schedules, they can be found following the most recent roundups.

The Times Herald-Record provides a comprehensive list of scores for Section 9 winter sports, which includes:

Battle at the Beach (at Long Beach)
Monroe-Woodbury had three top-six placers: Kelly Sullivan (132 pounds) was second at 4-1; Caleb Brown (138) was fifth at 4-1; and, Malachi Courtois (215) was fifth at 4-2.

Tiger Invitational (at White Plains)
Ninth-place Pine Bush had five top-six placers: Griffyn Alfalla (118 pounds) and Armando Rivera (110) were second; Justin Stewart (215) was third; Josiah Hutchinson (175) was fourth; and, Paul Bueti (190) was sixth. Pawling finished eighth, with Edison Garbarino (144) and Aaron Villalobos (285) placing third, Victor Perez (150), Isaac Pozo (110), Gavin Campbell (165) and Jack Archer (138) placing fourth. Beacon was twelfth with Caleb Smith (150) placing third, Everett VanCott (132), Braden Lopez (190) and Benjamin Betancourt (144) placing fourth.

Putnam Valley Duals: East Ramapo beat Our Lady of Lourdes 45-28.

Conklin Memorial (at Nanuet)
Red Hook beat Babylon (47-36) and lost to Nyack (42-39), Nanuet (45-30), Scarsdale (37-36) and Somers (42-29).

Horace Greeley Duals
Cornwall lost to John Jay-East Fishkill (49-24), North Rockland (54-24) and Collegiate (54-24) and beat John Jay-Cross River (60-22).

Ballston Spa Duals
Minisink Valley beat Ravena Coeymans Selkirk (78-0), Hudson Falls (74-6), Saratoga Springs (60-18), Iona Prep (56-21) and Ballston Spa (60-9). Colin Matone, Zach Filip, Joseph Uhrig and Vincent Coppola each had four pins, Timothy Duke and Jayden Pressley each had three.

Columbia Duals
Goshen (5-0 prelims) lost to Niskayuna 50-25 in the finals after beating Glens Falls 53-30, Onteora 54-18, Columbia 54-27, Galway 71-9 and Guilderland 40-32. Unbeaten wrestlers included Greg Schaefer (118 pounds), Michal Papa (144), Evan Weeden (150), Josh Luna (215) and Gavin DeEntremont (285) and Tim Papa was 5-1. Onteora beat Columbia 45-35 and lost to Beekmantown 54-30 and Glens Falls 53-29.
